Razer Phone 2 announced with 5.7-inch QHD 120Hz display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, water-resistant body and Chroma RGB logo


Razer just announced the Razer Phone 2, successor of last year’s Razer Phone. The phone comes with a 5.72-inch Quad HD UltraMotion display. The display delivers fastest refresh rates and smooth graphics, same as the predecessor. The display has 645 nits and 120 Hz UltraMotion display making it brighter than the predecessor.

Razor phone 2 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 Octa-Core chipset with upto 8GB of RAM. It comes with Vapor Chamber Cooling technology that allows heat to spread via a custom vapor chamber. It has stereo front-facing speakers and Dolby Atmos. It features a Glass Back and comes with IP67 ratings for Water Resistance up to 1 meter. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and company said that it will be upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).


It has 12MP rear camera with f/1.75 wide-angle lens and a 12MP secondary camera with f/2.6 aperture telephoto lens.  It also has Razer Chroma RGB logo on the back that glows in different colors for notifications. Similar to the first phone, this doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, but comes with 24-bit DAC Audio Adapter. It packs a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ as well as Wireless Charging.

The Razer Phone 2 comes in Mirror and Satin variant. It is priced at $799 (INR 59,450 approx.), It will be available for orders in the US, Canada, UK and Europe for the Mirror variant while the Satin variant will be available later this year.



OPPO K1 announced with 6.4-inch FHD+ waterdrop notch display, Snapdragon 660, 6GB RAM and in-display fingerprint scanner


OPPO just announced the K1, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘K series’ in China. It has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED 19:9 display with Waterdrop notch and 91% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by and Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset with up to 6GB of RAM.


It comes with a 16MP rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 2MP camera. It also have a 25MP front-facing camera. It runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1. It has in-display Fingerprint sensor and 3D glass back. It packs with a 3500mAh battery.

The OPPO K1 comes in Van Gogh Blue and Mocha Red colors. It is priced at 1599 yuan (INR 17,145 approx) for the 4GB RAM and 1799 yuan (INR 19,290 approx).for the 6GB RAM variant. It is available for order now, and will go on sale in China starting from October 20th.


Google Pixel Slate with 12.3-inch display, Intel processor, up to 16GB RAM announced



Google announced the Pixel Slate, the company’s latest tablet running on Chrome OS. It can also run Android apps via Google Play. It has a new 12.3-inch  (3000 x 2000 pixels) 293 PPI 2.5D curved glass Molecular Display. The Pixel Slate is just 7mm thin and comes with dual front-firing speakers.

It is powered by 8th Gen Intel Core m3, i5 or i7 processor, or Intel Celeron processor, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256 GB storage. It comes with 8MP rear and front cameras. The front-facing Duo Cam provides an extra wide field of view.


Pixel Slate Keyboard has round Hush Keys, dedicated Google Assistant key and an extra large trackpad.  The Pixel Slate also works with Pixelbook Pen, which launched last year. The power button doubles as a fingerprint sensor and the Pixel Slate promises up to 12 hours of battery life with typical mixed usage.

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL pre-orders begin October 11 in India


Google has officially announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones at an event held in the US.  The Pixel 3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display while the Pixel 3 XL with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display and are powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC Chipset and 4GB of RAM.

Both the smartphones cost start at $799 and $899. It has also announced the pricing and availability for India.

  • Pixel 3 (64GB): ₹71,000
  • Pixel 3 (128GB): ₹80,000
  • Pixel 3 XL (64GB): ₹83,000
  • Pixel 3 XL (128GB): ₹92,000
  • Pixel Stand: ₹6,900.

Both the smartphones will be available for pre-order from Thursday, 11th October 2018 on Flipkart, Airtel’s online store, and at offline partners including Reliance Digital, Croma and other leading stores across India, and will go on sale from 1st November 2018.

Google also said that the Google Pixel 2 XL (64GB) will continue to be sold at ₹45,499 in India.

Google officially announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. Both of these comes with Pixel’s iconic two-tone design, an aluminum frame with hybrid coating, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back and IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance.

The Pixel 3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio while the Pixel 3 XL with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display and a notch. The new pixels are powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC Chipset and 4GB of RAM.

These run on Android 9.0 (Pie). These comes in-built Titan Security, that protects most sensitive on-device data by securing the lock screen and strengthening disk encryption.

These comes with 12.2MP rear camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Dual Pixel auto focus. These comes with 8MP dual front cameras, one with 97-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies. These come with new AI-powered camera features.

  • Top Shot – AI based feature that capture multiple shots to pick out the best photo
  • Super Res Zoom – Produces sharp details when you zoom
  • Night Sight – Lets you take bright, detailed, colorful shots even in low light (coming soon to Pixel 3)

These comes with dual front firing speakers, the company claims these are 40% louder compared to the predecessor. These pack 2915 mAh and 3430mAh batteries, respectively with support for fast charging as well as wireless charging.

The Pixel 3 XL costs $899 (INR 66,580 approx.) and $999 (INR 73,990 approx.) for 64GB and 128GB versions, respectively. The Pixel Stand with 10W charging costs $79 (INR 5,850 approx.)

These are available for pre-order in the US and will be available in India from November 1st starting at INR 71,000 with pre-orders starting from October 11th.

Today, Noise announced the ColorFit Pro fitness band with a premium slim design and Colorful IPS LCD display. HMD Global unveiled the True Wireless Earbuds and the Nokia Pro Wireless Earphones. The True Wireless Earbuds weighs just 5 grams earbud each and promises 3.5 hours play time. The charging case provides three charges that gives users a total up to 16 hours of talk time.

The Nokia Pro Wireless Earphones comes with a neckband design. It offers up to 10hours of playback time in a single charge. It comes built-in vibration function to alerts users for incoming calls. HMD Global announced the Nokia 7.1, the successor of the Nokia 7 which is Android One smartphone as usual. It comes with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio diaplsy with a notch and 80% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with support for HDR and support for SD to HDR real-time conversion. The display also adapts to indoor and bright outdoor sunlight. The company named it Pure Display. It has a 6000 series aluminium frame and uses dual-anodised diamond cut coloured edge.


It has 12MP RGB sensor with 5MP Monochrome sensor, dual rear cameras with ZEISS Optics and fast accurate autofocus. It has an 8MP AI front facing camera with supports for facial recognition. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and the company promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update.

Panasonic Eluga X1 and X1 Pro went official with Helio P60 chipset, upto 6GB of RAM and Wireless charging



Panasonic announced last month that it is going to launch two new smartphones. Earlier this month it annouced that both will named by The Eluga X1 and The X1 Pro. Now it has launched the Eluga X1 and X1 Pro toady at an event in delhi.

The major difference between the Eluga X1 and the X1 Pro is the RAM and the Wireless charging support. The X1 comes with 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage while the X1 Pro has 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The X1 Pro comes support for Wireless charging that the X1 lacks.
